Happy (early) 16th, Sharon!

My virgin trip to the USS with the Indo gang to celebrate Sharon's sixteenth last Sunday was a blast! The entire place was like.. out-of-this-world haha it made me feel like I was in an entirely different planet, except that there was Singaporeans all around. The highlight of the day was taking each of the Battlestar Galactica rides twice! At first I thought it would be super scary (coz Sharon herself was super scared HAHA) but after the Human ride it turned out to be really fun for me!! The Cylon ride was definitely x342974 more enjoyable and thrilling, loved it woohoo! Plus, we took the Mummy ride 4 times only because we wanted to dry ourselves in the air-conditioned ride after getting all soaked in Waterworld (HAHAHA). Nevertheless it was a really good experience! Can't wait for a second time there yipee!

Ok baaack to reality. With my abysmal Prelim results and Os coming up in exactly 3 weeks, I guess all I can do is to just pray for the best and do the best I can. I've been extremely complacent, especially with my Amath, thinking that I could easily achieve an A1 without much studying. But what I got was nowhere near there; it's all the way down to a meagre pass. I think I even shocked myself with my results, it's too great a plunge from expectations to reality, yes? So yup, realisation has struck me real hard and I am ever so determined to halve my current L1R5. Like what the VJ Principal said during the talk the other day: "The world out there is cruel, so you all have to work hard." (or something along that line)

Mugger mode: on.
