Unto this world, You have come

Happy Tuesday you guys! First of all I am just so sooo thankful for this day because:

1) I finally got to catch-up on my much needed sleep last night aka scoring a 10 hour quality time with my bed mmhmm 

2) It's my first off-day of the next 7 off-days mwahaha! 

3) I can finally rest, as in r e s t my entire being whew

4) BANGKOK TRIP IS COMING IT'S COMING IT IS COMING!!

First off let's see how my Sunday was! It was a great Sunday as usual but this particular Sunday holds a special meaning to me because it's Easter Sunday aka Resurrection Sunday!!! (I just used 4 'Sunday's in a sentence w h a t) But my main point is, Easter Sundays are one of my favourite days because I was born on an Easter Sunday (hence the 'Ister' in Isterina), so it really feels like my birthday to me! I think it's pretty much safe to say that I have 2 birthdays right hahaha! 

But more than that I know that it is not by chance that I was born (natural birth btw) on such a special day with a momentous occasion. I know that God has chosen that day because He has a purpose for my life and He has a great things in store for me (just like He has for e v e r y o n e). And I am just so thankful and honoured that I can celebrate my 'birthday' together with Jesus' resurrection. Wait no no no, I am even more glad that Jesus actually and really rose from the dead: because He was dead, but now He is alive! Woohoo PTL!!!!

So back to the rest of my points: the day saw me in church in the early afternoon with my bros and service was so sooooo good. Everything from worship to testimonies to dance to the mad hilarious GXT video and especially to the preaching of the word by Canon J. John was simply amazing. Truly I am so glad to be in the house of God on that day. Thank God for all the souls that were saved during that weekend. My God is an awesome God woop woop!

After the service, Muk dragged us to go take pic at the photobooth. But first lemme set a background and paint the conversation that took place the night before:

Muk: Eh Jie, tomorrow going church right?

Me: Ya la duh

Muk: Ok Wira coming? We all go leh

Me: Why you so enthu suddenly ask all of us go church?

Muk: Coz after service we can go take photos at the photobooth!!

It was such a 'kwa kwa kwa' moment for me after he said that. But at the same time I was SO HAPPY because 1) Muk is not a fan of being in front of the camera 2) He wasn't like this before 3) He is the one who asked Wira and I to go church together. PROUD OR PROUD YOU TELL ME? My bro is now a changed man and behind this man is a very proud sister hahahaha! So here we are:

This was the first try. After this shot we were all like "we're all too tall for this stuff". Granted, we have to take a second pic (and why was I covering my chin sigh) which turned out much better! I couldn't stop laughing at Muk holding a block of cheese though, it's too hilarious. Nevertheless I  love it when I see others smiling with their teeth! :D

After church we all went to Orchard coz Muk wanted to check out the Vans sale, which turned out to be a wasted trip in the end coz we bought nothing (blame it on Muk's big feet) but it was a good time with my bros!

After our siblings time I headed back to church for the Easter gameshow and movie screening while the bros had to scoot home to do what every other Singaporean teenager had to do on a Sunday night before school begins again on Monday. Back in church we witnessed a really fun and funny gameshow! I'd thought there were more games but oh well! The movie that screened was Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and I have to say it is really SUPER GOOD?!?! I had an enjoyable time watching the movie with the CG! Especially with Regina coz we both laughed at the same scenes hahaha. Anyway Tom Cruise is really really good! Now I think I wanna watch Oblivion when it's out!

When the movie screening ended I went to join my Sakae colleagues for some midnight K-box!! I can't truly say that I enjoyed myself coz I was almost maxed out and my throat wasn't co-operating when I was singing. Plus they were all drinking and some went for smoke breaks so the room eventually smelt like a mix of booze and smoke, which definitely wasn't a pleasant one. Nevertheless it was an interesting experience! 

So this was my Easter Sunday! Following that I had my first day at work at Saveur. Now now it seems pretty hypocritical that I just came back from a bonding time with my colleagues and then the next day I'm 'jumping ship' to a French restaurant. And as much as I can't bear to leave Sakae, I'm already getting too comfortable with the environment and I've pretty much learnt everything that I need to learn there (ok maybe not every single thing). It's safe to say that I've reached my saturation point at Sakae. Besides there are so many other opportunities in front of me and there are so many new experiences that I've yet to try, so I'm giving myself a shot at Saveur.

My first day there was good! I totally K.O.-ed the moment I hit the bed back home coz I was so tired but work was pretty fun!! The night service was full house but it was really a great experience and I didn't regret trying it out. Cheers to more fun (and manageable) work days!

Ok that's it guys, long post over. Can't wait for tonight's dinner with my crazy girls!!
