Blessed assurance

I had my first follow-up session today by Joyce (and Brenda). It was like a feeding of the most fundamental truths into my spiritual life and I kinda think I'd needed that. In the past years I'd been floating around (though still keeping the faith) but I like that the foundations are being laid out and strengthened once again and for that I'm deeply grateful. Honestly being in HOGC and around its people so far has been encouraging to me coz it really shows how God is raising up a new generation to proclaim His name to all of this nation. PTL really! I truly enjoyed my early afternoon learning and listening from Joyce about God's truth and was likewise inspired and touched by her sharing. And also chatting up a storm with Brenda following that; got carried away with all the talking so much so I was late to meet up with Lorraine.

So Lorraine and I finally met again after almost what 3 months?! We had lunch at Manhattan Fish Market (virgin experience for me woop) and for some odd reason I kept thinking I was at Fish & Co., which may be due to the fact that I was starving then ha. Waited for a torturous half hour before our dish came and many a time Lorraine was tempted to go all "where is my food" on the waitress there (which she eventually did anyway) but we survived the waiting all the same with the endless catching up we did. And like the norm we would retreat into the blissful silence of taking in our food in sheer comfort and assurance that our tummies would not have to suffer any minute longer ha ha. Following lunch it was the shopping part! I'd like to think that the 2-hour long walk was enough to burn off all the calories we'd gained from the oily (though yummy) lunch.

In any case I'm just glad to meet with you again Lorraine and I'm thankful for the sharing and catching up!! As always I'm very grateful for this girl who encourages me many times and spoke positivity into my life when I needed it. And to you, know that there are always others who care for you (like the one typing this out right here) hehe. Never lose faith coz I'm sure you'll come out of every situation victorious in Christ, amen? Love you sissy :)

Thank God for such a great Wednesday! And now it's back to work for the next two days!! As much as it'll be tiring I'm thankful for my very fun-loving and entertaining colleagues hahaha. Ciao!
