Honestly felt that I didn't give my best shot for POM. There's this wee bit of disappointment tugging my distressed heart when I stepped out of the prison-like examination room. But it's finally over and what's done is already done so I'll just tell myself it's ok! (Which I really do feel it is, as of this very moment).
Anyhoots today was a great Sunday (like every other great Sundays). Lisa Bevere was the speaker for church today and she's just amazing. This is the first time I've ever heard her preach and she's as great and as charismatic as her husband. Even as a grandmother (at 50-odd years young--I know right) she's able to bring across a word that is so relevant, so real and so practical for us kiddos living in the last generation.
"You must put the language of heaven in your heart so that it will come out of your mouth when you are under pressure."
Now you tell me, is that relevant or relevant? Admittedly I am guilty of doing the contrast for oh-so-many times, such that instead of faith, it's rubbish and negativity that comes out of my mouth when I experience pressure. It is already so true that "for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" (Luke 6:45), how much more do we have to keep God's word in our hearts right?!! Thank you Lisa for the wake-up call man ha I definitely need it *fist bump, sista*
And of course the 1000 souls project! Yes the harvest is plentiful so it's time to send workers into the field woop!! It's not even a quarter into 2013 and the year is screaming "breakthrough" already thank you Jesus :')
The rest of the evening saw me spending some good quality time with le brosie Muk in town to help him shop!!!
"You know ah I actually asked you to come so that you can advise me on what to buy" (or something of the sort)
Aww I am truly madly deeply touched :') I didn't actually think that he would think of me like that (not that I'm a pro at shopping for guys' clothes anyway) but that coming from my own bro, I feel really humbled and honoured to return the favour!! Ya so all in all it was worth the time spent at Topman + *scape + H&M for the few hours hehe I'm so glad that he's happy with his buys. I'm a proud sista ^^v
Yup that pretty sums up my very happy Sunday! It's been a long day but I loved it hehe nothing beats spending Sundays in the house of God + time with family!!
And now for 2 more papers to go and then it's pure liberation and joy to all the earth wooo!
