Last post was 3 days into the holidays and this post is 3 days away from school; not sure whether to rejoice or cry over the finale of my holidays/beginning of school. Truth be told I almost hated September because all I was doing was slogging it all out at work to bring home $753 in just that month. It would've been a hundred and fifty more if it weren't for the necessary contribution-to-CPF thing. And I'm not even a Singaporean?! Major turnoff pfft. Work aside I did reward myself with (very little) shopping buys and some me-time for movies/dramas and meetups with old buddies mmhmm so that's a plus point right there. And then there's October which I've been really enjoying coz I worked less and enjoyed my holidays more; spent another glorious day with my dearest classmates at USS (for the 3rd time! Will never get sick of that place, well, I hope) taking the front row at Battlestar over and over. Awesome.
And then the main highlight of October was the 3D2N getaway up to Genting w ma homies Bettina, Hazel, Justyn, Jia Jin, Jun Yong and Brian. There has been so much talk about this going-overseas-together thing, so much so until I thought that it would never happen. But hey plans were made and the trip was rolled out for the 7 of us, with everything falling into place. And it was honestly one of the most memorable travel for me. I'm really grateful that this trip happened, especially with such an amazing bunch. This trip was the last and biggest tick off my to-do-during-the-holidays list and I can say that it is a great way to end off my long holiday. I may or may not even be more prepared for school. In any case, I'm already looking forward to the next getaway!
