Sunshine after rain

Hola! I've been really busy lately, ninja-ing around the island running errands and more errands. Day 1 of errand-running saw me rolling from Dhoby Gaut to Orchard and back (will never do it again), the next was exploring Ang Mo Kio in search of... the lowest prices for soap refill packs (don't judge you guiz) and yesterday I went to explore the newly-opened 112 Katong mall (which was still pretty empty; not worth going there now) and then to Parkway and then to ION and then to Bugis and back home. Why did I just type out the earlier sentence? I have no idea.

Anyhow, I'm flying back to Jakarta tomorrow! I'M SO EXCITED YKNOW! Have already made plans for the first week hiak hiak. But then I'll be spending an entire month in mah hometown and the bro had warned me of the impending boredom when you've been there too long, which is why I'm going back prepared - laptop and 3 novels *triumphant fist*. Plus I can borong all the DVDs and kope the TV (with every channel you can think of) to kill all the time I have so I guess I'm good! Hopefully I'll get to learn to whip up a few dishes or so; I reaaaaally want to learn how to cook. The last thing I cooked was instant noodles (ikr -_-) and I can't even remember when was the last time I fried an egg, or cook rice. Just look at the chef in me - it's non-existent. At least for now.

Soooooo, I hope to be able to blog while I'm in Indo; posting pictures of the good food and all *evil grin*. Otherwise, till next year! Merry Christmas and Happy 2012 to all! :D
