Surprise surprise

Just got off a Skype call with le dad and le bro.

I MAY GO BACK TO JAKARTA FOR A WEEK OVER CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

Totally freaked out (in a good way) at the prospect of being able to go home. How can any Indons not be excited to go back to Indo? Much as I want to, there are sooo many downsides:

1. Projects and assignments to be done (sian or sian?)
2. I promised (or casually told) my boss I'll work in December oops
3. I'll miss Christmas in Singapore (already did last year)
4. All the exercising I've been doing over the past weeks will be as good as wasted (major turn-off)
5. I can't get to go carolling with le friends... :(
6. My holidays are only 2 weeks long. The one week left here will be spent to 1) catch up on schoolwork 2) catch up with friends 3) continue working. And of the three, I can only choose two. Such is life
7. PULANG INDO PASTI MACET. Macet duduk di mobil tiga/empat jam minta ampun
8. I'm not being unfillial but I honestly don't actually wanna go see my relatives...

Now the upside:

1. I finally get to see my dad!!!! (Major plus point)
2. Continue driving lessons
3. Eat. Good. Food.
4. Shopping shopping shopping

I wanna go so bad and yet I wanna stay here too... Sigh why can't the holidays be longer gosh. Seriously, who would have the heart to merely grant the Poly kids a 2-week break in DECEMBER? Ruthless hmph.

This is a real dilemma, isn't it?
