I think I had been dreading this day for days. I don't know how to properly react to seeing someone who had been so close to me, go. This friend I had known since Primary 2; since we became good friends in Primary 4, and ultimately becoming the most unlikely pair of best buddies that we are, has as of 930 this morning, gone. After you really left, all the memories we'd shared together all these years just came flooding back to me; it didn't take me long to realise that those are the moments that I'll really miss, and that they are the only ones that I can hold on to when you're away.
Thank God you'll be back in August. It is, and will be a really long time, before your return. Till then... study hard and make the Indos proud ;) and if you're reading this, we can try betting if my hair will grow to such a length (refer to above picture) by the time you come back (if I don't bring a pair of scissors near it) (and which I highly doubt so) but we shall see.
Nah, not gonna make this post any sappier than it already is. I can imagine you cringing and wincing after the first paragraph already. I'll definitely miss you! Meanwhile take care, Sharon, and see you :)
