Because You're with me

I finally got my very first pay transferred into my bank account. Needless to say I am proud to be able to use my own strength to earn moolahs for myself. Haven't asked for a single penny from the parents ever since I started my first ever job at the supermarket, and I've been surviving on my angpow cash ever since. Now that there's actually a decent figure in my POSB, I feel slightly more secure. Hope to be able to support myself throughout my tertiary education; well maybe not entirely on my own, I do wanna be more self-reliant and not stick my hand out to dad and mum for allowance every other time, I feel bad enough to do that already.

Speaking of which my very first week as a waitress at a sushi place was already quite a pretty good experience; made new friends (with future schoolmates!), got to eat free leftover sushi, singing with the crew while cleaning up before closing, encountering very friendly and forgiving customers (there are also the bad ones too...) and many other interesting happenings. Work can be tiring but with fun people around, it's much more bearable. So... cheers to a happy and fun working environment!!

Brah if it is true that school commences one week later for TP as compared to all the other polytechnics... THEN SOMEBODY GIVE ME A HIGH-5 hehehehe ok bye!
